Established in 2024, Cheshire Acquisition Fund 1 was established to acquire portfolios of unsold condominium or co-op apartments, sponsor bulk sales, maturing inventory loans, construction loans, and residential multi-family properties that are substantially complete.
Cheshire has 30 years of experience in the New York co-op and condo market, including purchasing and restructuring debt; converting buildings; owning and operating market and rent regulated apartments; and repositioning and selling apartments.
Cheshire began investing in underperforming and distressed assets, restructuring failed co-op and condominium conversions in the mid-1990’s. We have years of experience with respect to workouts. We excel at restructuring, repositioning, and rebranding distressed multi-family assets.
